Key Responsibilities

• Safely and promptly transport medical items such as lab specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, medical records, and equipment.

• Follow all chain-of-custody protocols and handling procedures with the utmost care.

• Accurately complete and manage delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and client facilities.

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements to Get Started

To ensure the safety and compliance required for medical logistics, all drivers must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Driver's License: A current, clean driver's license in your state of residence.

• Clean Driving Record: A verifiable record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.

• Reliable Vehicle: A 4-door, insured, and reliable vehicle (model year 2010 or newer is typically preferred). Some routes may require a larger vehicle or cargo van.

• Smartphone: You must own a smartphone (iOS or Android) for route management, GPS, and electronic signatures.

• Insurance: Proof of current auto insurance that meets or exceeds state minimums.

• Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
